Scholarship Goals and Process:

Purpose of award is to provide funds towards furthering knowledge of quilting and the textile arts, skills development, and/or the presentation of quilt information to others.
The Marys River Quilt Guild awards scholarships from $25 to $300 per fiscal year to its members for scholarship purposes. Scholarship applications are reviewed every month by the MRQG executive board, which meets the second Thursday of the month. Applications must precede scholarship use (i.e., funds cannot be used retroactively). Applicants will be notified of decision made as soon as possible after the executive board meeting.
